Mary Grace Dempsey

Miss Mary Grace is a student at Merion Mercy Academy. She has been dancing at From the Top since she was 3 years old, and she has been a dedicated member of the studio ever since. She began dancing in a Movers & Shakers class and started training in ballet, tap, and jazz shortly after.

In 2012, Miss Mary Grace became a member of the studio’s award winning competition team and was on the team for 8 years! Miss Mary Grace absolutely loves participating in dance conventions and performing at competitions and the annual recital!

She became an assistant in the beginning of 2019, and she began teaching in 2020. She has a special passion for teaching young dancers, and she has been inspired by so many of her own dance teachers whom she’s gotten to learn from over all the years.

Miss Mary Grace loves dancing and being able to teach dancers and see them all embrace their love for dance. She continues to learn each year in the classes she takes, and always looks forward to performing on stage! She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, modern, and musical theatre, but her favorite styles of dance are hip hop, jazz, and contemporary.

Working camp and birthday parties at the studio is something she loves to do!

Miss Mary Grace also volunteers her time to help choreograph for the Saint Anastasia school plays each fall, which is where she went to elementary school. FTT is a second home for her, and she is forever grateful to be part of such a loving dance family!
